Liverpool are in terrible form. Their midweek win over Wigan was very underwhelming. Key players Gerrard and Torres are not performing and their season looks to be going nowhere.
Portsmouth have recently changed manager. Avram Grant had an excellent record in his spell with Chelsea and has inherited a Pompey team whom have improved a lot since the start of the season. They seem to have good team spirit and are playing for each other.
Liverpool may not fancy a freezing away trip to Portsmouth today and I am happy to take them on at the price.
