Last time out at the Hungary Grand Prix, Renault took the decision to fuel Fernando Alonso ultra light in order to gain Pole Position.
He managed this beating the Red Bull's of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber into 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Renault may try this again to gain track position and optimum race conditions for beginnning stage of the race.
The fact the race is in Valencia may add further motivation for a good showing.
